Peter Cvik has long been researching the possibilities of painting. During the studies at VŠVU, he devoted mainly to painting of architecture or urban environment. During his postgraduate studies, he worked on the theme of layering. This layering was initially on the canvas, and later the artist began painting the various painting materials that are part of his studio (eg, dry layers of paint, raw, smeared cloths, etc.).
Peter Cvik, despite his young age, is an internationally author. He has already made his first solo exhibition at the Biennale in Moscow, as well as the first major exhibition in the foreign official museum in Krasnoyarsk, a large number of solo exhibitions at home and abroad, as well as international and domestic group exhibitions. As a painter, he has won several nominations at home and international awards, and has recently been invited as a young artist at conferences on contemporary art, where he lectures on his work and his wider contexts ith professors and theorists. He is currently exhibiting mainly abroad.
