Pracuje s fotogrametriou, technika 3D skenovania jej umožňuje konvertovať fyzický priestor do dát. V tomto ďalej pracuje s chybovosťou programu a momentom náhody, jej projekty majú generatívny charakter.
The ideas of Paula Malinowska’s work are evolving from the topic of human evolution in the context of the current state of climate emergency, rapid technology development, birth of artificial intelligence and, last but not least, the global pandemic. Currently, she is interested in digital art, the visual language of 3D programs. She perceives them as some kind of evolution of the photographic medium, which is the base of her art projects. She works with photogrammetry, a 3D scanning technique of physical objects allows her to convert physical space into data sets. In the digital generative process, she works with errors and moments of accident. This way, she points to the question of human presence in the digital world ruled by algorithms. Is the conversion of a human into data an opportunity for the emergence of a new collectivity, or, on the contrary, a means of a new kind of alienation?
